Hi Everyone!
My 21st birthday is coming up at the end of this month and for my birthday I am asking my friends and family to donate to the International Institute of Minnesota. The Institute is an incredible non-profit based here in the Twin Cities that helps immigrants settle into their new life in Minnesota. They provide support with job searches, language learning, naturalization applications among other things. Last summer and this spring I had the opportunity to intern in their immigration department. As you may know, on October 2nd, naturalization fees will be increased by more than 80%, making the process of becoming a citizen even harder.
The Institute is running a campaign called the New Americans Campaign to help raise money to offset the costs of these steep application fees. Between now and August 31st every contribution will be matched dollar to dollar. Please use the link below to donate and let me know if you have any questions!
